The Electric Warrior himself woulda been 73 today! T. Rex is one of my all-time favorite bands, so I whipped up a tribute drawing to Marc. Have a good one, wherever you’re riding your white swan today…

Happy 62nd Birthday, Joan Jett!
‘Nother birthday post, this time for a rock ‘n roll legend! The drawing is based off of the cover to her album that was, appropriately, called Album.
Happy 108th Birthday, Chuck Jones!
Celebrating one of the greats! Chuck Jones is one of my personal heroes… he’s been a huge inspiration to me ever since I became a Looney Tunes fanatic when I was a li’l kid. I really can’t put into words the debt I owe to the guy, and the way he and his work have put me on my career path– well, I probably can, but not in a half-assed blog post.
Happy 108th, Chuck!
Mister Ranger Sir
Because apparently all I draw is Hanna-Barbera stuff anymore.
Another Mighty Mouse Doodle
More Testin’ Out The Tablet
Still warming myself up to the new Wacom… fortunately, I was right in my last post here when I said I’d probably get used to the brush thickness settings!
It’s been a while since I last animated, so I took Harmony for a spin and made a quick-ish Boo Boo walk cycle:
Nothing too elaborate, but it was just meant to get me used to the new tablet, as well as re-teach myself some animation basics I’d been neglecting the past couple of months.
I also drew a caricature of Mickey DeSadist, frontman for one of my favorite bands of all time, the Forgotten Rebels:
Some self-esteem boosting news: the official Rebels Instagram and Facebook pages both shared it, and a fan of the band asked me if they could buy it as a print (working on getting that done)! All in all, that was a pretty good couple of hours for me.
Also, here’s… y’know, I’m not really sure what this is:
And a Jabberjaw:
Finally, just a couple of minutes ago, I doodled Bugs in Photoshop:
Bugs has always been a tricky character for me to draw right… it’s weird, I’ve been drawing the dude since I was first able to hold a pencil, and yet when I’m going from memory I’m never quite satisfied with how the drawing turns out.
This wasn’t meant to be based on a specific director’s take on the rabbit, just rendering him in my own sorta style.
Anyways, I’m having fun with this thing! I’ll post some more of what I come up with on it later.
