Like I mentioned earlier, some plans changed, and the thesis toon I spent most of the past year working on will be coming in 2023, rather than 2022 like expected. Basically, remote learning proving too stressful combined with the fact that I wanted to overhaul a lot of the work I’d done on the film (and some other personal things sprinkled onto the dog-turd sundae that was 2022 here and there) led to me taking a temporary leave-of-absence from my final year at college. I’ll be returning in September, when things are supposedly back-in-person and should flow much more smoothly, hence the new 2023 expectation for the cartoon.
